Busy and busy

I do hope I'm not forgotten :D It's been, like, forever since the last time I posted. It's almost November now, and I expect you all to be very happy, with 2 months 'til 2009 XD I'm blogging at my school...Dawn and Brisingr yet. I'm a student, my money wouldn't be enough D: Bye ~ I had a physics re-test today. I think I did good on the first 10 questions. And spoiled the last 15 questions. God save me ;(

This terrible responsibility ...

...one in the Sookie Stackhouse series (or whatever it's currently being called) which the series True Blood is based on. I read this series at the beginning of last year and kinda wanted to fall in love with it all over again since I'm really digging True Blood at the mo. Needless to say, I quite like these books and have already started the 2nd. Yay! My hands smell like pumpkin. Fun. Later!

So, today I read my THIRD book of the year. I brought home 3 Elizabeth George Speare books today and started right in on "Calico Captive". It was a pretty good book. ...done as I wanted, but a lot of planning things out and editing took place. Accomplishments: Finished "Walker's Bridge". Finally. I started that story well over a year ago. Also, not too many books read this month, but all of them were fabulous: Neal Stephenson's Anathem, Lauren Slater's nonfiction book about psychological experiments Opening Skinner's Box, and John Shors' Beneath a Marble...

Angels and Demons the movie

I really love the story of Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I like it better than The Da Vinci Code . Maybe because Da Vinci Code is too mainstream. And now its a movie!! *source

What I Read in October - The Thieves of Heaven - Robert Doetsch

This book is better than its sequel, The Thieves of Faith.   It's still wildly implausible, but it's an exciting story.   Its's a good escapist adventure and not so many amazing escapes from death as the...  I lost the keys.   No, I can't just blast 'em open.  Haven't had my coffee this morning  Give me a couple minutes and we'll have it working again."  Um, yes, irreverance is apparently hereditary.

Tennant quits

Oh noes! Who news. Although I'd love Paterson Joseph or John Simm.  Although maybe John Simm should be kept for sexy villain roles . . .  Paterson Joseph did the wonderful portrayal of the Marquis... Collected Poems, 1947-1980 finally arrived, so I can read Howl. :) 'who passed through universities with radiant cool eyes hallucinating Arkansas and Blake-light tragedy among the scholars of war.'

What I did today

I wish I had something exciting to say but all I did was nap and read. Read a lot of news, and actually two chapters of a book that I checked out from the public library yesterday (American Gods by Neil...Kevin Smith film. I think I've watched Clerks II about twenty times in the past month. I think I am being a little too ADD right now for blogging. So I am going to shut this down and get back to CSI.
