So I was just in Skibo Cafe doing my Feminist Lit readings, and I nearly burst into simultaneous tears and laughter at one of them. Don't be mistaken -- these weren't tears of frustration or laughs...it is the way my chest rings like a bell when I read that. After seeing the most recent Narnia movie (Prince Caspian), I had to go back and re-read the Chronicles of Narnia. The movie deviated from the novel, as it always does, but I think it changed the tone...twisted individual? Am I a severely twisted individual? Is my vegetarianism going to my head? Did this occur to anyone else while reading these stories? And now I am off to contemplate dirty dishes...
