I will soon write a proper entry about my afternoon, this afternoon, in fact, wherein I met my former professor and now trusted friend Paolo Manalo (who, if you need to know how friendly we are to each...my camera, but I left the memory card inside my laptop. Which is why I have no proof that Paolo Manalo is still alive and well here in the UK, and in fact, he gave me one of his rainproof notebooks.

The other movie we saw was Iron Man. It's a great origin story,  a bit formulaic, but what separates it from other superhero movies (aside from Robert Downey, Jr.'s starkly stellar performance which reminds...Mc Adams for the Pepper Potts role. Then, I found out in IMDB.com that the roles was indeed offered to Rachel Mc Adams, but she declined. Wow. See, I share my instincts with Hollywood professionals!
