We've named her Gertrude and she's currently about the size of the end of my index finger. Today was the first day of jury duty. It's criminal court. The jurors' waiting room was full of magazines...gifties in my direction. You've no idea how much it means. And thanks for the well-wishes in an earlier post. I feel very loved by you guys and I don't come anywhere near deserving it. Thank you

45 ~ a magic number, that. That's my juror number yo! I got the letter from the clerk of court today that I've been picked to serve on jury the week of 25 August. I can't wait, can't wait, can't wait...role. So far, I've stuck by my vow, much to green_goblin7t 's ire. Now, I may have to break my 16 year long boycott of the movie franchise so that I can get me a Joker fix. Gods I'm pathetic

I keep meaning to catch up, and since I have 4 and a half days off from work, this is as good a time as any. AUGUST: I spent three days in Joplin with my dad. He was very short of breath, on oxygen.... Two days of rejuvenation and pleasure for all the senses. Then, back to work. Tired, waaaay behind on housework.... Full of pumpkin pie and barbq chicken.... Gotta go get back to work on laundry..
