Since B is back home, I rode Mika by myself yesterday.  D had a lesson going on in the arena and I didn't want to disturb that so I rode in the roundpen for the first time ever.  Mika took it like a pro.  He kept his mind more or less on task and listened very well for being somewhere he's never been before.   He'll collect at the trot for a few strides at a time.  He can't sustain it for very long...

Today was day two with B.   He decided to ride Mika today.  After seeing him work with Mika yesterday, I had complete faith in allowing him a totally free hand.   He put a western saddle on Mika and away they went.  I told him that although he's perfectly content to carry an English saddle, he HATES having things touch his hip/flank area and that I was pretty sure a lot of bucking would take place...

I was exhausted and didn't get home from class until 9. It was still a restless night, and I am currently dragging ass. I'm in pretty bad shape right now. How do I know? Because, instead of packing yoghurt this morning, I packed two cans of Mika's Pedigree dog food. Mmm, chicken and rice. -_-

...to be near you, but if you give him hugs and scratches he's really quite into it. After they came back from their ride on the giants, he went and got Czar (one of D's Percherons) so he could pony Mika off of him.  Mika is strange around other horses.  He's afraid of the really big guys (going to be a problem since he is going to be pastured with them once he's gelded) and is just an idiot around...

Bloooonde (huffs). I want it dark again (groans).

I am sleep deprived now. I can't sleep. I am not tired at all. I should try to get some sleep. I know that. But I don't feel like it. Maaaan. Mika..

To był jeden z tych dni, które można określić mianem "best of the best". Na początku było trochę dramatyzmu: "A przy której biedronce? A jest tam gdzieś Pepco?" Potem duuuużo ciekawych historii :D No...te rodzynki w czekoladzie jakoś szybko zniknęły T__T Niestety wszystko co dobre, szybko się kończy. Szofer mi zabrał Mikę i Prun a ja odeszłam z wypchanymi kieszeniami do domu. A jutro buda. Łee.
