A family reunion is held next Saturday, and my mother has organized it. I know she wishes that I would take part in it, and maybe I would if it didn't take place two hundred kilometers from my current... And that's the crux of the matter: I don't care either. So there isn't any reasons why I should participate, except to please my mother. Maybe at the next reunion I'll have something worth telling..

I met my lovely best friend Merry (aka quantumspork), whose LJ I'm too lazy to link at the moment, around a year ago on June 16th--yes, we mean enough to each other that we actually remembered. ok so seriously. Today was family reunion day. AKA- DRUNK AS FUCK FOR BETH DAY! So, here it is 11 am and im like BITCHES IMA DRINK NOW. So i started drinking at like eleven. It was a big accomplishment.... so i will peace out now because i am fucking bored and i am watching Degrassi and sad day i dont have my fucking will and grace dvds. This July my husband's parents will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.  Though my husband is only three years older than myself, his parents are twenty years older than mine, children of the Depression...sure everyone is so hammered with tequila that dinner just doesn't seem that important.  I think I'll tell Dan to make the Knock-You-Naked maragaritas we had at our last party.  That ought to do it.

I've just returned from my sister's #2 wedding today. Evidently, as her actual official marriage was an elopement and as the Friends (Quakers) do not necessarily hold to the usual formality of a sacremental...even for Friends, at the manner of honesty and sentiment shown by everybody. "Unusual" is pervasive in my clan. Anybody who marries into it should be at thorough peace and comfort with this fact. F

Had a very good weekend. Moved into an apartment over the weekend, I live ten-fifteen minute walk from the school now instead of having an hour and half commute. My kitchen equipment doesn't fit fully...cabins or grab one of the larger tents that they are sure to have. Kotetsu, Izumo, you two can get away during summer break, right?
