In an effort to counteract the obnoxiously-continuous whistling of "We Like To Party" , I've managed to get Vanessa Carlton's version of "Greensleeves" stuck in my head. I'm hopeful it'll get the Venga...for this week's Green Shirt Thursday. {Its hard to tell from these pics, but the shirt is a Persian green with cobalt blue sleeves.} {Singing like a fool on the drive home today.}
Oh, I love the sheer idiocy of this one. Fandom Wank: The Battle of Versailles So what happens when an obscure American musician finds out that a Japanese indie band that just might be less obscure...so I know who you are. o_o I reserve the right to screen/bahleet idiocy, though, because this is my LJ and I'll wank cry if I want to. -Reileen let's make this our story, let's live in the glory
I have a habit of getting obsessed with lyrics. Guess whatI'm obsessed with now. Vanessa Carlton - Thousand Miles Making my way downtown Walking fast, Faces passed And I'm homebound Staring blankly...miles If I could just See you... If I could fall Into the sky Do you think time Would pass me by? 'Cos, you know, I'd walk a thousand miles If I could just see you If I could just hold you Tonight..
Yeah, this wasn't one of Vanessa's better concerts and I cite three reasons for this: 1) She was the second act in a 3-artist bill and technically still an opener 2) The majority of the crowd wasn't there...Vanessa?) because I find his music to be mellow and boring (sorry if you're a fan). I didn't bother taking pictures because I didn't have a good view of Vanessa. Bring on the headlining tour (please)
Наверное, очень простая и банальная песня, но именно поэтому мне и нравится. Ночью, как всегда упаднические настроения. boomp3.com Some people live in a house on a hill And they wish they were someplace...a glimpse And a smile on your face A touch of your hands An honest embrace For where I lay, it's you I keep This changing world And fallasleep With you all I know is I'm coming home Coming home
I looked at that hammock a couple days ago. I wiped some of the bird shit off the awning-like thing and fixed the pillow, but I didn't touch the rest of the actual hammock-y parts. I just sort of looked...one as a quote from the song, but there are so many that apply. The one I used seemed to apply the most and be the most inconspicuous. There were plenty more. They were just displeasing to others
... always worried about what I'd lose. Yeah, it's been like a month since I last posted... and while I doubt anyone really cares, feel free to chat with me about any of the follow random thoughts: 1...my parents have adopted. Yeah, try having 25-ish years between siblings.... :D Not only is it in my personal life but it's my job too. So, please consider adoption! [/end of my PSA] Have a great weekend
