One of my owner's closest friends is staying here for two days and because he's sort of scary and fairly high maintenance I've been running my butt off to keep him happy. I'm not allowed to refuse him...was staying here I lost my mindset a little. He seems to be determined to put me back in my place fast. (That's actually what I wanted to write this quick post about but I'll do that another time.)
Wow. Okay-- he did it again. Brad Hicks just wrote about something I've totally thought for a long time, only he explained it better than I could. PLEASE check out this post, it's well worth the time.... since that tap of easy (but, truly, unaffordable and unsustainable and fraudulent) credit has dried up, there've been mass layoffs in all the places those jobs went to, too, including China."
Adapted from the Oatmeal Tin, by nearly 200 batches of trial and error over four years of marching band. The kids on the drum bus love these. I usually make two doubled recipes. It takes a bigger bowl... 7. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. They go from "lightly toasted" to "black" rather quickly. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets before transfering to parchment or wax paper.
Sup yall? Wow, i'm listening to One Be Lo tonight and I'm totally drowing in enjoyment of bells and bumps. But I still haven't separated from my challenges. Stress. Frustration. My peace is shaken, soul stirred. I'm not even trying to be strong-let this happen, let it pass, learn to live through it. Thas my stand. Whatever. It's good knowing that I'm alive and marching on.
Yeah, it's everything but a surprise, we all knew David Tennant's going to leave soon, but this whole stuff going on at the BBC is just... rotten. First the executive producer announces his retirement...a cheap cliffhanger. So, either the whole BBC are outta their minds, or there's something rotten in Cardiff. I just hope Moffat can cope with the situation and eventually save the show from disaster
Well. Things continue to get interesting and leave me impatient for this quarter to end. French class today was amazing in the fact that ma prof got locked out of her preferred classroom, so we had to...and brother-in-law and baby nephew WHO IS FREAKISHLY TALL. He's up to my hip already and he's only TWO. Big boy is big! D'awwwww. Anyway, leaving the post here before I babble about something else!
Here he is calling to ask if I fancy dinner for two and the new James Bond. Sadly I had to turn him down, since I'm married. He didn't take it well! Cheer up, love. OK, what actually happened...is all this stuff with Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand? Does anyone else in the UK think it's slightly OTT to devote three day's worth of news headlines to a misguided radio prank? Gawd help us.
