I am currently trying to drink a Pepsi. I say trying, because it is taking me forever. I want to finish it, because I paid for it, but damn, it tastes vile. I have been drinking Jones Soda, which uses cane sugar and not the evil HFCS, and now, it appears, I have lost my taste for Pepsi. Which is sad, in a way, but good in so many others. It's a step, right?

...I'm going to have to stop eating refined foods and drinking caffeine.  The caffeine is actually going to be the hardest part. Lately it has become a huge problem. I've always enjoyed coffee and soda but I realized it was getting to the point of ridiculousness when I started getting energy drinks at school.   The original notion was to make a "cherry phosphate"...   Come little one with yer little dimpled fingers Gimme one 'n I'll buy you uh cherry phosphate Take you down t' the foamin'...the cherry syrup. Stir. Add the water/seltzer. Stir and enjoy.   This is also good frozen. Pour into a freezer-safe cup and freeze. Give it a stir every 15-20min to keep a slushie consistency.

...about a month and I'm only on page 80 or something) I came across something really disturbing (that actually has not much to do with fast food) it said how the average teenage boy drank about 7 ounces of soda in 1978, over the time that amount has tripled, making it 28 ounces, I thought about it, and that's only like 4 ounces less then 2 pounds. Isn't one pound enough already? One surprising thing is...

Does anyone know of an apple soda available in the U.S? I've only been able to find Sidral Mundet (a Mexican apple soda) thus far, without resorting to ordering from websites.
