...for December and November hasn't even started yet. 26hours to go. I already know how things are gonna start... it's not really gonna be pretty. I'm kinda pleased by this prospect. :D Also, on an unrelated note, is it cheating that a majority of my GoodReads account consists of every Star Wars/Star Trek I can remember reading as a wee girl of twelve, and picture books from when I was six?

Tonight's Campus Coffehouse

What I actually read at our Coffeehouse tonight was three pages from Shenandoah --specifically, the British getting their butts whupped at the Battle of the Monongahela in 1755. What I was really secretly regretting was that, as far as I know, there are no karaoke CDs with Tom Lehrer songs.

I was doing laundry, allegedly. Most of the time I was actually just sitting in the rocking chair with my nose buried in a book. Then I came up to fold the laundry and most of the time I was actually just sitting in the office chair with my nose buried in ruthette 's journal.

i will never. sleep. again.

...enough. So people are aware of this issue. My manager is going to try to hold me accountable for eating. She may not have to if my appetite is back to normal now. I don't know, though. We'll see. I am reading Rant by Chuck Palahniuk. Part that I read last night, about Easter egg dying and the smells in a holiday kitchen, made me feel nostaligic. I guess that would be the right word. A little sad also...

Book #27 - The White Dragon

Wow, this one took a long time to get started. I was seriously thinking about setting it aside and reading the third book in the Harper Hall trilogy first, since most of this book takes place after that one. But after page 100-something, it actually picked up and started showing some signs of a plot. Yay! Now I'm even more excited about reading Dragondrums to learn firsthand what happened and fill...

Book #26 - Much Ado About Nothing

It amazes me that I spent _months_ in rehearsals for this play back in high school and missed so much of what was going on. Don Pedro flirting with Beatrice?! How'd I miss that? And speaking of Beatrice...such awesome females in The Merchant of Venice or had already shot his load doing so. ...understand. So please protect me, my dear friend And thanks for loving me true, But please let me keep my paintbrush with me Until I love me, too. These two poems make so much sense in my life, that reading them, even today, makes me cry at how close to home they are. Hopefully I can get through this rough patch that has plagued my life, and look back on this time with relatively fond memories.

Halloween,

... Life is not quite as insane now that midterms are over. I'm feeling the major urge to write, and have been working and re-working Incorporeal Form . I'll probably be posting some of it soon for your reading pleasure. If you have time. I know everybody's busy right now. :D I've also made a vow to read as many books from the library I work at as possible. I read one last night that was excellent -...
