...& the bed & the couch, and maybe the TV stand, but other than that stuff, only one or two more loads I think and the rest of the stuff will be at the Good Apartment. It's nice to take it easy & only movea little bit at a time, rather than feel forced to do everything fast so that a truck can be turned in. Target is blah. But since money is pretty tight, any paycheck is better than none. Still job...
I plan on packing my computer this evening, so I will be offline at least a week, maybe more. It's possible I'll visit a library and use a computer there, but I'm going to be awfully busy this next week. Even if I do make a library trip, it will be to check for critical email. Things aren't great, but they aren't bad either... I got 8 hours of overtime this week, so yay for the monies, but boo for the tiredness. The funny thing is I am getting the overtime because I actually...my GPS to get most everywhere. All in good time... I know this. And, don't get me wrong, for everything on the list I miss, there is two things I truely make me grateful and glad I moved.
As Wendy and I prepare to pack up and move to Michigan, I am coming across a lot of old original art (some really old, some not so old.) The bad stuff gets a pass through Wendy's Kutrimmer before hitting the recycle bin, but there are some pieces that I am still ok with but I just don't need to keep. Out behind my current house, there's a garage that the owner tried to convert into living units, before the city stopped him. For about two months, there's been no work on it at all, although the city...them complaining, "The Man won't let us do anything else." Stupid city government, preventing people from creating unsafe structures! Who will protect slumlords from rampant government interference
