Cameron got a major shiner on Sunday. At Meeting, the person who takes care of the kids is a little flaky. She reported that he jumped off a table and landed on the other kid's head. This is a 10' x 10' room she is in charge of. Anyhow, he seems to be fine, but it's looking pretty colorful still. :-P
Golly, maybe practicing falling down did work. I don't think he fell out once last night! He did wake up several times, but that's probably because he's come down with a sniffle. Poor snottylittle man... I pointed out how the light was now off, so that meant it was time for bed. He only tried twice to come out after being put to bed. Two more nights to go at this rate (hope Murphy isn't listening)
Last night I noticed that one of Cameron's front teeth is chipped! :-( It's not really jagged or hugely noticeable, but I'm pretty sure I would have noticed it if it had happened before. We did go...to warrant a trip to the dentist, even though I love his dentist , but perhaps I will give him a call to see what his advice is. My baby's perfect teeth. :-( Just in time for his birthday. :-
No fever, but he's doing a little barky coughat night. I don't think it's croup; or a very mild case if it is. I put the humidifier in his room; it seems to help.
Cameron slept like a log last night. Did not hear one peep out of him from 8pm to 7am, not even talking or crying in his sleep, which he nearly always does. I guess he slept it off , because he seems to be fine. He went in the pool and everything. Maybe it was the vaccinesafter all. I guess we'll see if his temperature flares up in the evening.
Cameron started his new day care on Monday, and sure enough, last night he came down with the sniffles. Today, when we picked him up, he had a fever and "Tio" (Albert) said he didn't eat much for lunch...went to tearing about the house more or less as usual. Gotta love tylenol! Managed to get him down for an early bedtime c. 8:00pm, and I haven't heard a peep since, so hopefully he'll sleep it off
Yesterday I went for a physical.* The NP was very nice. She asked if there was anything I was concerned about, so I told her about Cameron's hearing test and about not being immune to chicken pox ....this appointment and my "fun doctor" (i.e. OB-GYN) appointment last week, there was no co-pay. They said there was no co-pay for "preventative" appointments. This is definitely a new thing. Rawk on
Cameron passed his hearing test with flying colors. I, on the other hand, flunked it. I had him on my lap, and the technicianlit up various fun-looking toys. There was a Sponge Bob on the left and a...You didn't hear them?" T. (to me, laughing) : "Maybe you need to get your hearing checked!" Me: (not laughing) : "I guess so!" I do need a physical. I don't think I've had one since I was a kid
Cameron has a fever. And that's it. No lethargy. No loss of appetite (except for a couple hours this morning; I gave him Tylenol and within half an hour he was back to devouring everything in sight). The...to ear. WTF? I hope he continues to feel fine -- and that he's not contagious. We're driving to the Bay Area tomorrow. It would suck to come down with something just as we're leaving for Austin
Cameron did great. Nobody cleaned his teeth or anything; he just got his mouth looked at by the dentist. WE LOVE THE DENTIST. Long hair, a goatee, a brightly-colored bandanna on his head -- could this..." He gave C. a child-size toothbrush. "Made of recycled yogurt containers!" he said. Ha! We got out of there and T. and I agreed that he was da bomb, and that we ourselves might just start coming to him
