MPR had a story a couple of days ago that makes me jump in my seat for joy. One of the world's rarest maps -- a massive print from 1602 showing the world with China as its center -- will soon be on...creation of this map. I recall the biography mentioning that he had collaborated on a map with chinese scholars; Clearly this is the map. I definitely will go and see this map when it moves up here

I was using Google Maps the other day when I noticed something strange. Yawkey Way was mislabeled. It is my understanding (as it was before my time living in Boston) that Jersey Street used to run from... This morning they let me know that I was correct and that the map will be corrected within a month. I'll post again when the fix is made. Now if only Google could go back and correct Tom Yawkey ..

Судя по документации, с помощью этой библиотеки можно осуществлять преобразования картографических проекций
