im such a hp fanfic maniac (harry potter fan fiction maniac) omgz i was just reading it, and my brother(2yrs) comes over and says "hur puter?" and i thought he said harry potter! i was finna flip! but he just said computer, that how he says it...do you like fanfic? what kind..?
I keep reminding myself that the sledgehammer approach is Not. Good. Especially when dealing with one's computer. Though that technique can be very appealing and refreshing in the moment! Maybe it's time to take a break. Before I do something I don't have the money to fix.

...been using the EEEpc's keyboards for too long. The Vista continues to annoy the hell out of me. I do admit that there is a certain degree of innocent joy in being able to tinker with your new computer for the first time, but the problem is I need to use this computer for work, and I need to work in more than one OS. Windows XP (both Home and Professional versions) have a "hidden" administrator account. The built-in Administrator account is hidden from Welcome Screen when a user account with Administrator privileges exists and enabled. I am so tired today. SO TIRED. Today I went to the bookstop beside central market... not to buy books, but to get some free coffee. I had a coupon that I had printed from online, and the store locator...was $25 off with a purchase of $100 (that's not a gift certificate, it's a coupon). So I was lucky that I place my order early enough that the $25 gift card could cover a just-barely-over-$25-purchase
Yah my laptop came back to me. It's still broken. The hard drive needs to be replaced and their sending me the part. Great. Except. They didn't take out the fucking stripped screws I told them about...how the fuck am I supposed to put the new hard drive in when it comes? I've left three messages for them about this, in a week, not a single call back. Better Business Bureau you're my friend..
