Leftow has been active in the New York City poetry scene since 1993, frequently reading at poetry evenings at CBGB's, the Wetlands, Cornelia Street Cafe , Bowery Poetry Club, the Back Fence, Palmer Vineyards...the television show, The New Yorkers.
